WELCOME
Martial arts and combat sports unite many millions of active and passive enthusiasts worldwide across all social classes and age groups.
The past few years have had a very strong impact on this area and have made it imperative to initiate changes in the way we interact with each other and in the way communities of interest and organisations are structured.
Ossified structures that do not adapt their processes to the needs of their members over decades under the pretext of “tradition” have no future.
We have brought together a steadily growing number of experienced professionals who are prepared to take a new and more rewarding path for the members of the community.

REPORT
For the first time, a seminar on Kyusho-Jitsu took place in Luxembourg on 2 August 2025. At the invitation of Daniel Scholtes (2nd Dan Kyusho-Jitsu, 5th from left), the internationally renowned seminar leader Manfred Zink (9th Dan Kyusho-Jitsu, author of numerous specialist books) was able to convey the subject matter to the participants in a clear and concise manner. The excellent atmosphere and pleasant participants did the rest, making the seminar a complete success.
If you are interested in joining the Luxembourg training group, please contact Daniel Scholtes directly at decodan@pt.lu .

Further risk information ... Sweating is common in sensitive individuals; in extreme cases, breathing difficulties and dizziness may occur, leading to complete loss of consciousness.
Name of meridian... Lung
Element ... Metal
Polarity ... Yin
number of vital points ... 11
Main direction of activation ... slightly outward under the forearm muscle (brachioradialis muscle) toward the radial nerve (servus radiales).
Effect ... penetrating pain throughout the entire forearm musculature. The arm gives way downward, the body bends forward, and the knee on the same side buckles.
techniques (tuite), mainly by applying pressure with the thumb.
A firm grip on lunge 5 is recommended in all cases where the normal body reaction (forward bending, same-side knee buckling) is desired, as well as to prepare for follow-up techniques against the upper body, neck or head.
Location ... outside the biceps tendon, approx. 1 cun below the elbow crease. Note: in acupuncture, directly at the outer end of the elbow crease.
Activation ... pressure, tapping
Application ... Due to its location near the elbow crease, this point is generally protected, so that a strike (gedan barai/uke or otoshi uke) is only possible with the arm almost fully extended. However, the point is easily accessible for all forms of grabbing or gripping
